The Lenair Technique
Over the past year popular syndicated
health radio host, Frankie
Boyer, has become a valuable
resource to totalhealth. She has
introduced us to a number of
individuals who have been featured in the magazine
and regularly promotes the magazine to her
listeners.
So when Frankie called me and announced we
absolutely needed to interview Rhonda Lenair,
my interest was piqued. She explained that
Rhonda Lenair is a pioneer in the field of energy
medicine, specializing in resolving the problem
of alcoholism and providing the solution to other
addictions and related issues. She is also a world
renowned medical intuitive and bioelectrical
diagnostician whose work has been compared to
that of Edgar Cayce.
Frankie added that each time Ms. Lenair
appears on her show there is an overwhelming
call-in response from the listeners. She offered to
send us background information on Ms. Lenair
and the Lenair Technique—the healing modality which bears her name. She suggested that if we
decided to interview Ms. Lenair, it would be
important to speak with a few of her patients
prior to the conversation.
Upon receiving and reviewing the information
regarding Ms. Lenair and the Lenair
Technique, I was intrigued. To us her practice
represents a tangible expression of what Richard
Gerber, M.D., outlined in his excellent totalhealth
article, “Newtonian vs. Einsteinian
Medicine: The Evolution of the Science of Life-
Energy” which appeared in our February 1999
issue.
The following bio and excepts from Dr.
Gerber’s article are provided for the readers to
appreciate more fully the promise of electromagnetic
or energy healing and Ms. Lenair’s special
talents.
Technology has evolved to the point that doctors
have even begun to design drugs by computers
for ideal interactions with membrane receptors.
And yet, in spite of these advances in technology,
modern physicians still conceptualize the human
body as a grand machine.
This commonly held viewpoint is the product
of a 200-year-old model of the universe, otherwise
known as the Newtonian world-view.
Newtonian physics helped to bring order to the
universe in the minds of early scientists. It provided
a conceptual model for understanding the
world and everything in it in terms of a supreme
clockwork, with all component parts of the universe
following orderly laws of action and reaction.
It was also a way for scientific thinkers to
separate religion from science in understanding
the functioning of the human body in divine
explanation, for the nature of health and illness
were no longer deemed necessary. Newton’s laws
were quite useful but they were found to have
extreme shortcomings when the new forces of
electricity and magnetism were explored.
Eventually it was discovered that the
Newtonian model could be considered as a
subset of a much bigger picture, the Einsteinian
universe. Via his famous equation, E-mc2,
Einstein suggested that matter and energy were
manifestations of the same universal substrate
and that the two were interconvertible. The fundamental
understanding of the Einsteinian
model is that the subatomic particles which are
the building blocks of all matter in the universe
are, in fact, miniature energy fields.
It has taken more than 70 years for physicists
to verify the predictions and implications of the
Einsteinian model. Although physics has con-
firmed the energetic field nature of matter, most
physicians have not yet integrated this understanding
into their model of human biological
functioning. Doctors still see the body as a sophisticated physical mechanism and yet, the
human form is composed of the same stuff as
the universe.
The Einsteinian model of medicine sees
human beings as molecular, cellular systems
which are in dynamic interplay with a variety
of organizing information-bearing energy
fields. It is through an understanding of these
organizing energy fields, the so-called “ghosts
in the machine,” which are superimposed over
the “physical” structure of the body, that we
may begin to consider the important influence
of subtle life energies upon the biocellular
matrix of the human system. By extending our model of human physiology to incorporate the
interactions of subtle life fields that orchestrate
the patterns of cellular and organismic
behavior, in concert with molecular biologic
mechanisms, we open the door to new realms
of diagnosis, as well as unique energetic
approaches to therapy.
We are indeed at a unique point in human
history. As Einsteinian medicine matures and
is slowly incorporated as a conceptual model
to extend the outdated Newtonian framework,
doctors will discover energetic ways to diagnose
and heal illness that will both complement,
as well as eventually surpass, existing
mechanistic approaches and in the process,
may reintegrate science and spirituality in a
new understanding of humanity’s place in the
universe.
Richard Gerber, M.D., is an author, a
teacher and a board-certified internist, mixing
orthodox with alternative methods in his practice
of medicine. He has traveled throughout
the world lecturing on vibrational medicine
and its implications for a evolving humanity.
His book Vibrational Medicine is the culmination
of many years of study and thought about
how many alternative and complementary
healing methods actually work. The book is a
synthesis of ideas about how humans are more
than just biological machines of flesh and blood:
they are multidimensional beings with unique
and intricate life energy systems that modern science
is only beginning to understand.
The Lenair Technique is a progressive and
powerful modality that was developed to
resolve addictions and related problems and
assist with physical conditions. Through Ms.
Lenair’s experience of having helped thousands
of clients, she has developed the expertise to quickly and completely remove
the burden of addictions and related issues
from her clients.
THE METHODOLOGY
This technique does not incorporate any traditional
theories, philosophies or mainstream
practices of addiction therapy or recovery.
There is no psychotherapy, counseling,
biofeedback, hypnosis or 12-step concepts or
requirements. The Lenair Technique integrates
both electromagnetic and bioelectrical modalities
in a unique form to thoroughly resolve the
addiction or problem—without any devices or machines. Physical conditions are addressed
by identifying and eliminating that which contributes
to or exacerbates the condition.
Specific recommendations are then made to
help achieve a healthier state or to resolve the
problem.
The Lenair Technique is based on the science
of the bioelectrical body and its infinite
knowledge to make changes that will positively
affect the entire being. An integral part of the
modality is Ms. Lenair’s medical intuitive
expertise. An in-depth consultation is part of
every program.
Through her own energy system Ms. Lenair
is able to synthesize and modify the bioelectrical
system of a client and bring it to a state of
equilibrium. In its simplest form, the technique
reestablishes balance within the body’s
bioelectrical and electromagnetic systems by
transferring healthy currents to weak or damaged
parts of one’s system. In essence, the
client’s system is brought back to the point of
where it was just before the addiction or outof-
control problem took hold. As a result, his
or her system is no longer attached to the
problem. Withdrawals, if they would normally
occur, are minimized or more commonly
totally eliminated. All of this is done noninvasively.
The mind or the will is not affected, and
since it is a physical modality (in the sense that
there is a distinct change in the system), total
willingness on the part of the client is not a criteria
to achieve a successful outcome.
Ms. Lenair requests that clients not reveal
any medical or personal history prior to their
session. She fully comprehends the nature of
their condition or problem, whether it was
through genetics, physical, emotional or psychological
trauma, what one has put into his/her body, depression or any other of life’s
circumstances or reasons. In fact, knowing the
client’s current health status or history can
interfere with the process. She is not a physician
and all her findings are based on an energetic
representation of what she is subject to in
a client’s system. She is fluent in the language
of frequencies—that which animates all life,
thus creation.
Every client is viewed free of labels and
judgment. All information is nongeneric and
personalized. Just as we all have our own
unique fingerprint, so it is with our internal
bioelectrical print and pattern. She also goes
well beyond the specific problem. She works in
the fullest behalf of her clients in providing the
process and tools to allow them to achieve
freedom and an optimum state of health.
Issues addressed: abuse and trauma, alcoholism,
anxiety, depression, eating disorders,
fears, gambling, marijuana, phobias, physical
conditions, relationship issues, sexual and
sleep disorders, smoking, stress. Inquire about
other problems you may be experiencing.
THE LENAIR TECHNIQUE
Rhonda Lenair established her practice in 1987
and has assisted over 30,000 clients with an
exceptionally high rate of success. Ms. Lenair
assists clients who are suffering from addictions,
emotional problems and a range of
physical maladies. She is also consulted by
clients who have diagnosed and undiagnosed
conditions, who have not received satisfactory
results from mainstream or alternative medicine
concerning their health or who are unsure
why they are not feeling well. Because Ms.
Lenair does not traditionally diagnose, the
label of a condition is irrelevant. She does not
subscribe to any generic information or condition
based on its label. “A client’s information
is as unique as her fingerprint,” she states. She
sees clients from around the globe and from all
walks of life, including royalty and celebrities,
and her services are sought out by those who
have not found relief from traditional or other
alternative sources.
In her early teens, Ms. Lenair was a dedicated
student of ballet and became an apprentice
with the Boston Ballet—one of the
youngest dancers at that time. She came to
develop her proprietary modality in an
unusual way. When she was 16 years old, she
went to England to try out for the London
Festival Ballet. While there she became ill. She
had developed a suspicious mass and was hospitalized.
She opted not to have surgery and
was released after a short stay. Upon leaving
the hospital, by chance she met a young doctor, Dr. Winston Marlowe, who immediately
recognized that she had an unusually
strong electromagnetic field. He was aware
of this because had studied healing in the
Soviet Union and Poland where a form of
healing using the electromagnetic field had
been employed to treat pain, trauma and
addictions.
Ms. Lenair became Dr. Marlowe’s student,
learning what he had learned about this
unusual form of healing. She departed London
shortly thereafter (the mass had resolved itself )
and returned to the United States. Intrigued
by what she had learned, she began a journey
of exploration that unfolded and emerged into
her own specialized way of healing. She had
theorized that if so much could be accomplished
by manipulating the electromagnetic
field—the field that surrounds any living
organism—what could be accomplished if one
could work with the source of that field—the
bioelectrical system within the body? Thus
began a decade of independent study, research
and experimentation that evolved into a
modality that today carries her name—The
Lenair Technique.
Prior to speaking with Ms. Lenair, I visited
her Web site, www.lenair.com, and reviewed
over 30 testimonials to the positive impact of
her work, then requested a list of persons
whom I might contact personally. The three
individuals I spoke with all related their experiences
with a missionary zeal. One of the
women is also in the national health field. She
overcame an addition to alcohol through her
experience with Ms. Lenair. Another women
no longer smokes or craves nicotine after
decades of addition. I talked with a gentleman
who has been working with Ms. Lenair for
three separate problems, alcohol addiction, an
eating disorder and most recently, to overcome
a lifelong problem with severe claustrophobia.
All three have remained free of their problems
since working with Ms. Lenair. Each feels a
strong connection to Ms. Lenair and has recommended
the Lenair Technique to other persons
who might benefit from the experience.
I recently had the opportunity to speak
with Rhonda Lenair at the Lenair Technique
treatment center in Newbury, Massachusetts.
TH: Rhonda, it is a pleasure to finally have the
opportunity to speak with you. As an introduction
to our conversation I have provided our
readers with a good deal of background on yourself,
how the Lenair Technique evolved and its
methodology.
To begin would you please define the terms
“electromagnetic field” and “bioelectrical system”?
RL: All living matter is composed of electromagnetic
fields. Whether it be a human, a wolf
or a swan, an apple or moss on a tree, the
species will have identifiable electromagnetic
characteristics. Organs, within living species,
i.e., heart, liver, kidneys, etc., will also have
predictable electromagnetic fields. The unique
amalgam of these fields emanating from a individual
creates his/her own unique aura which
influences and is influenced by all other electromagnetic
fields within its realm of existence.
The human bioelectrical system is comprised
of frequencies. All the information that
makes us who we are is stored in these frequencies
which cannot be seen with the naked
eye nor measured by a machine; what we are
made of, where we come from, what sustains
us, provides our equilibrium and influences
our decisions. As these frequencies are physically,
mentally or emotionally interrupted or
diverted, it may be manifested as addictions,
disease or social dysfunction. A good analogy
would be a grand piano. The piano has a limited
number of keys, however, while properly
tuned, it is capable of producing an infinite
combination of chords. However, when the
piano is out of tune, many times even the most
basic of chords are off key.
TH: The Lenair Technique approach to
abating addictions, other out of control problems
and assisting with physical conditions is
based on the bioelectrical body and its ability
to make changes that will affect the entire
being. Please elaborate.
RL: The way the hands-on treatment works is
that whatever is the cause of the imbalance in
the bioelectrical system may be portrayed
through the individual. The causes and reasons
are particular to that person. For instance, if
someone has a malady portrayed as diabetes or
alcohol addition, a conventional approach
may identify 32 reasons it has become a
problem for one person and 59 for another.
However, my position is to remain judgment
and opinion free. There is no right or wrong,
no good or bad. It has nothing to do with what
precipitated the problem and why the person
wishes to be treated.
My patients are all my children. They are all
connected by my heart. However, what I want
for them has no bearing. It is what their system
states they need. It is important that I give
someone what is needed to serve them best.
Their own tapestry or choreography will be
formed through the process. I will not be
aware of everything while I am treating them,
only what their system displays, no more, no
less, without editorializing. If I were to put my
two cents worth in, that would be the meaning
based on the take rather than the pure
meaning.
Guidance is per their systems, not by me. I
am fluent in frequencies. I understand what
links the currents and how to reformat them as
far, as wide, forward or back as needed to facilitate
the understanding their system needs to
hear or understand in order to realize where it
needs to be, not only for itself but for the
world at large. Everything works in tandem.
The only thing I need to be is void or vacuous
when I go into treatment. I am not aware
of anything going on—only those things their
systems communicate.
The way this experience cleanses the
whole body not only reconfigures the individual
but affects the whole world. Most
people are primarily concerned about themselves
and their families, the people they love
and belong to. I relate to my work with
excitement as a donation that can change the
world for the better.
TH: How did you originally establish your
practice?
RL: One of the first persons with whom I
helped solve an addiction problem was a nurse
who was on staff at the veterans hospital. She
had friends who were nurses who had friends
who were doctors who had friends who were
administrators, many of whom needed my
help. Also, they all had families and friends
who were outside of the hospital itself. That
was in 1985. By 1987 I formally opened a practice.
For quite some time, over 80 percent of
my clients were associated with the health care
community. Today, some 30,000 clients later, a
considerable part of the practice is still from
physicians’ referrals.
TH: With your commitment and schedule, how
do you disassociate yourself from you work?
RL: I create the stimuli when I know I need to.
I guess in a way I have sacrificed my life and
my identity to my work. However, I always
understand that my calling is to be the mirror
and that it is my life. When people meet me,
they just meet themselves.
TH: Thank you, Rhonda. I will mention your
Web site again: www.lenair.com for individuals
interested in learning more about the
Lenair Technique.
RL: Thank you, Lyle.
